Speed
- Out of the box: 4800 MT/s. Every kit starts at a safe default speed. Turn on XMP or EXPO in the BIOS to run it at 6000 MT/s. If Task Manager shows 4800, that's why.
- Above the CPU's official speed. Core 13th/14th gen officially supports 5600 MT/s. Running faster is an overclock through XMP or EXPO; most CPUs handle it, but it isn't guaranteed.
- Use slots A2 and B2. The second and fourth slots from the CPU. Two sticks in the wrong pair may not reach full speed.
